Upcoming Collection Events

We will be hosting two woody debris collection events over the Veterans’ Day Weekend. Whether you have wood lying around from the ice storms two years ago, or you removed vegetation to create defensible space, here is an opportunity to get that wood off your property and reduce the fire hazard, for free.

  • Posts and fence materials

  • No stumps, root balls, or any root parts.

  • Construction waste

  • Trash

  • Rock, dirt, or fireplace ash

Contractors

This event is for Defensible Space Fuel Mitigation only. Debris from contractors will not be accepted unless it was generated from performing mitigations for a Home Ignition Zone(HIZ).

Hauling Guidelines

Clean out your pickup or trailer before loading material. This helps keep trash and debris from mingling with material.

  • All material must be securely tied down.

  • Keep all types of material separate within the load. Each type of material is unloaded in a different location.

  • Do not use heavy machinery to load material as this will often add rocks and dirt. Any load with rocks or dirt will be refused.

  • We do not accept material transported by chip vans, semi side dump, end dump, walking floor, or live floor trailers.
